From 11 to 15 December 2025, Minerva APS hosted the second SEED Future Training of Trainers in Forlì, Italy.
The course brought together the same 16 adult educators who had participated in the Spain training, with four educators from each partner country: Estonia, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria. It completed the linked training pathway under Work Package 3.
Gender equality and inclusive adult education
The Italian course focused on integrating gender equality and inclusive teaching into adult education. Participants explored how to recognise stereotypes in learning materials, encourage equal participation and adapt activities to different learners’ needs.
Through interactive workshops, group exercises and micro-teaching, educators redesigned learning activities and practised inclusive facilitation. They worked with the four integrated SEED Future Toolkit modules, connecting gender equality with environmental sustainability and digital literacy.
Participants also developed action plans for applying the Toolkit within their organisations and local communities.
Results of the completed training pathway
The consolidated WP3 evaluation, covering both the Spain and Italy courses, recorded:
- A 36% increase in educators’ confidence.
- A 30% improvement in digital teaching scores.
- Implementation of 80% of actionable feedback.
These results relate to the combined training pathway followed by the same group of 16 educators.
Application in the national pilots
Following the training, educators applied the SEED Future Toolkit in the national pilot courses delivered in May 2026. The four pilots involved 85 adult learners across Estonia, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria.
