SEED Future pilot course in Bansko, Bulgaria

Alternativi International delivered the Bulgarian SEED Future pilot course in Bansko from 14 to 18 May 2026, involving 25 adult learners.

Organised under Work Package 4 — Pilot Implementation and Evaluation, the five-day course put the project’s four-module Toolkit into practice. Participants worked with learning materials addressing environmental sustainability, digital literacy and gender equality through participatory activities and practical learning.

The course provided an opportunity to apply the SEED Future approach in a Bulgarian adult-education setting. Its delivery connected the educators’ preparation during the Training of Trainers pathway with direct work with local learners.

What participants reported

All 25 participants completed the post-course evaluation questionnaire. Their responses showed:

  • 24 of 25 learners (96%) rated the trainer’s explanations and support as good or excellent.
  • 24 of 25 (96%) felt included and comfortable during the course.

The SEED Future Toolkit remains available in English, Estonian, Spanish, Italian and Bulgarian, supporting educators who wish to use its four modules in their own learning activities.
