SEED Future developed practical resources to help adult educators bring environmental sustainability, digital literacy and gender equality into their teaching. Partners from Estonia, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria combined research, international training and local pilot activities to develop and refine a shared approach to inclusive adult education.

Research Report
The research report examines the three core themes of SEED Future within adult education. It brings together practices, challenges and recommendations that informed the curriculum, Toolkit and training programme.
Multilingual Toolkit and Moodle Platform
The SEED Future Toolkit offers four integrated modules:

Integrated Practices and Capstone Project
The materials combine explanations, practical exercises, reflection and assessment activities. Five language versions—English, Estonian, Spanish, Italian and Bulgarian—support use in different national and educational contexts.
Following the pilot activities, the Toolkit was refined with clearer practical guidance, everyday sustainability examples, digital tasks for different skill levels, additional gender equality scenarios and stronger support for capstone activities.
Training of Trainers
Two international Training of Trainers activities in Spain and Italy involved the same cohort of 16 adult educators, with four participants from each partner country.
The training connected sustainability, digital literacy and gender equality through interactive workshops, group exercises, micro-teaching and peer feedback. Educators practised adapting the Toolkit to their learners and prepared for local implementation.
The Training of Trainers Pack provides a framework, learning outcomes, programmes, session plans and evaluation tools for organisations wishing to replicate or adapt this approach.

National Pilot Activities
Local pilots put the Toolkit into practice with adult learners in all four partner countries:

Practical tasks, group discussions and reflection connected the project’s themes with everyday life. Participant feedback informed the evaluation and refinement of the learning resources.
Final Evaluation Reports
Two anonymised public reports present the project’s evaluation findings and plans for continued monitoring:

Continued Use and Follow-Up
Following project completion in August 2026, the partners will conduct follow-up in February 2027 and August 2027, six and twelve months after closure.
These activities will examine continued Toolkit use, application of learning, adopted teaching practices and institutional uptake. Findings will inform recommendations for further delivery and development.
Adult educators, training providers and community organisations are encouraged to use and adapt the SEED Future resources in their own educational work.
