ToT in Spain

SEED Future Training of Trainers held in Spain (29 November – 4 December 2025)
From 29 November to 4 December 2025, the SEED Future project successfully delivered its first Training of Trainers (ToT) in Spain, hosted by Asociación GO
GREEN – Avanzando hacia el Crecimiento Verde y el Desarrollo Sostenible.

The training brought together 16 adult educators (4 from each partner organisation in Estonia, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria) and marked a key milestone in Work Package 3 – Training of Trainers, moving the project from preparation into full implementation.

Focus on Digital Literacy and Environmental Sustainability

The Spain ToT focused on two core pillars of the SEED Future project:

  • Digital literacy for adult education, including the practical use of digital  tools, Moodle-based learning pathways, quizzes, badges and certificates;
  • Environmental sustainability, with a strong emphasis on integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and local environmental challenges into adult learning programmes.

Participants worked hands-on with the SEED Future Toolkit, exploring how its four integrated modules can be adapted to different adult learning contexts. The
programme combined interactive workshops, group work, micro-teaching sessions, and peer feedback, ensuring a practice-oriented learning experience.

Strengthening Educators as Multipliers
Throughout the training, educators developed competences in:

  • applying the SEED Future Toolkit in real classroom settings;
  • designing inclusive, learner-centred activities;
  • combining digital, environmental and social dimensions in adult education;
  • preparing for the upcoming pilot courses to be implemented in 2026.

The same group of educators will continue the ToT pathway in Italy (December 2025), where the focus shifts to gender equality and inclusive pedagogy,
completing the full competence cycle of the project.

Next Steps

Feedback and evaluation data collected during the Spain ToT are currently being analysed and will contribute to refining implementation guidance ahead of Work Package 4 – Pilot Implementation and Evaluation, starting in March 2026.

This ToT confirms SEED Future’s commitment to empowering adult educators with practical, high-quality and transferable tools to support a greener, more inclusive and digitally fluent future.
