This Privacy Policy explains how the SEED Future Platform (hereafter “the Platform”) collects, uses, and protects personal data of its users, in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).
By registering and using the Platform, you consent to the terms of this Policy.

The Platform is managed by the SEED Future consortium.

We collect and process only the data necessary for educational and administrative purposes:
- Identification data (name, surname, username).
- Contact information (email address).
- Login and usage data (IP address, login times, course access).
- Learning data (courses followed, progress, quiz results, uploaded assignments).
No special categories of data (sensitive data such as health, religion, political views) are required or processed.
4. Purposes of Processing
Personal data is processed exclusively for:
- Providing access to online courses and resources.
- Tracking learning progress and issuing certificates.
- Managing user accounts and platform security.
- Compliance with obligations deriving from EU-funded project implementation.
5. Legal Basis
Data processing is based on:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – User consent.
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – Contractual necessity (access to training).
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Legitimate interest (ensuring security and proper functioning).
6. Data Sharing
- Personal data will not be shared with third parties except project partners within the SEED Future consortium, solely for educational and reporting purposes.
- Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.
7. Data Retention
- Accounts and data are stored for the duration of the project and up to 5 years after its completion, in line with Erasmus+/EU project requirements.
- Users may request deletion earlier (unless required by law/project rules).
8. User Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access, rectification, and erasure of your data.
- Restriction or objection to processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time.
